Card accidentally deactivated
They shut down my card for a fraud prevention deal and now I have no access to any of my money and they are closed Mon of course for presidents day or some *** as they are constantly closed for something. Took an hour to get ahold of a person.
And no help. No reactivation.
Have to wait for them to mail me a card. I hit one wrong button and I'm *** outta luck.

I would strongly recommend NOT doing business with this regional bank! I opened my small business account in 2020 when I was walking distance to a branch location.
Since I have moved away and am not near a branch, it has gotten ridiculous. They want me to come into a branch for almost everything. No one seems to understand that I am not anywhere near any branch! All of my other banks allow me to do 99% of things online.
They took one week to send a wire that I requested.
I had to email the CEO to get any action on this.
I have now moved most of my money to another bank and they want me to walk into a branch to close the account! What a backwards bank that can't do online stuff.

0 my son got his SSI check he said he got it yesterday really late and I need that to pay my power bill and I seen a commercial where you can take a picture and deposit it that way and I don't know how to do that every time I do it it won't let me do

We were on fumes coming home and pulled into last gas station for twenty two miles. we had waited a gas was 22 cents less a gallon.
We had money in account, but bank declined card despite the fact funds were in account, and overdraft protection in place. We ran card three times, but declined all three times. We got text message five minutes later down the road, card was declined to protect back because they flagged it, despite having used gas station numerous times and only 35 miles from house. When I called and asked for supervisor I was told bank will flag sometimes to protect card holder.
There was no reason to flag this card and it caused great hardship for us running out of gas on a school night and what a celebration turned onto a horrible night.
Bank accepted no responsibility at all, we lost hours of time and used one of our AAA calls. This should not have happened.

My mother paid her utility bill online(MLGW) however, it is showing she paid $19,000.00. We need to stop payment and pay the correct amount.

Worst bank disrespectful
Yesterday August 30, 2023 I got a notice from my bank that my check to Regions cleared. I went onto the app to check my account.
I opened this account as a saving for my safety deposit box to take the money out yearly and I wanted to maintain at least 100 dollars in there since the box is 89 a year. So I went to check my account and I could not sign in and I was told to call the bank I did. When I called the bank Iwas told my account was closed and was done by the manager at my branch. There was no further information given.
I called my branch they were very rude on the phone and i gave my information and would not give any information as to why my account was closed. I lost my temper and finally the person named Jose said I will have the manager call me. I went and did research and saw that Regions Bank has a reputation of doing this. I called the
bank back and told them I was coming in today and closing my safety deposit box.
If a bank is going to treat me with disrespect, I am not going to give them my business. I went to day to empty out my safety deposit box. After I did the gen z attendant, and the manager gave me a difficult time they wanted me to pay them for the box. I told them I am not giving them a penny I cursed them out and I signed the paper that was their left the keys and left the bank.
Never in my life and I am 51 years old has a financial institution treated me with such disrespect. I had problem with Regions before and I closed all my accounts with them I still had my safety deposit box there only because of the location of the bank in the Financial district The company as a whole is very unprofessional the banking system at that bank does not respect its customers they close accounts never has this happened at any other institution whether itis a small amount is not the banks business i only had that account for the box. I am not paying them a penny the banks has the keys I am done with this financial institution and- I will sue for harassment and mental anguish for what the bank did to me. This bank does not care about customers just to make money and do not care whether you stay or go.
The world has changed and not for the better companies are selfish they hire kids who do not know first off what customer service is nor do they care to hire truly professional people. The banking industry is not what it once was a place of respect and dignity.

Rejection of VISA card.
The ATM machine told me my VISA card was invalid. Instead of entering a code I was send a message regarding PISSED CUSTOMER. What in the world is going on.
Not much of a bank
Under staffed do not answer phone, closed at random times for who knows why. Always at least 30 min wait for green line credit card questions or problems. Overall a poor banking experience.

My point exactly everything everything is a problem with his bank. You need a minimum of 100 symbols before this can go through - please write at least 100 symbols - I dont have 100 symbols to write! Ugh

Unauthorize charge
Tried to make a purchase using PayPal there were about six charges I didn't make four different in the amount of $ 100 dollars each, they tried to put $ 1000.00 dollars on my Master card. Tried to get in touch with PayPal but can't talk to a real person. They only deal with one complaint at a time you enter one then you would have to start the process all over again.
Unlock my online account
I spoke to an agent earlier today regarding unlocking my online banking account. I also told her the reason it was locked is because I answered the security question incorrect.
I also mention that I had previously attempted to reset from regions .com and it's asking for my SSN which I don't have, but yet she still told me to go the same route resulting in the same result.
Now for some reason I am unable to get through any of Regions customer service numbers from my mobile phone. I am super pissed and annoyed because I've been trying for hours since I spoke with the agent.

Regions took a $1,870.00 check for deposit and posted to my account. I made 3 purchases that were well covered by the deposit.
Come to find out the following day they reversed to deposit and put the check on hold for 9 days. I went to the bank to find out what happened. Then the next day, they put the check on hold for 11 days. The check was from my Voya Financial from my 401K.
Voya said they never heard this before. They said if the check was over $5,000 that they may hold it for a couple extra days, but not 11 days. If I went to a Voya retail store I could have cashed the check with them immediately and deposited the cash at Regions.
Instead Regions used deceptive trade practices to hold my check and charge me for $144 for overdraft fees. Very slimy business practices.

I placed an order yesterday with Amazon but I cancelled today. My regions on line info shows that they have already sent the cost thru as a purchase.
What do I do. I cant get a straight answer from them

I had an overdraft fee I had to pay before 8pm central time so I paid it. But because I didnt make a cash deposit and used cash app to pay it (They dont tell u that u cant pay a certain way) Regions added a OD Grace Period charge.
They refuse to remove it.
This is the worst bank ever! Regions bank is a complete Rip-off!!

Always carry some cash when leaving the house. At least enough to cover the situation you described. I carry enough for a tow as well, just in case.
Did you swipe your card at the pump or pre-pay inside? If you swiped at pump there is usually a hold placed anywhere from $75-$125.
