I was purchasing a new home and decided to go with Regions after being referred by my agent. She sent me to Wanda Simmons in Winder GA. Big mistake! The home I was purchasing appraised 2300 less than expected. We were told "this will not effect your loan or how much you will need to bring to closing." On Sun. 5/31/15 I went to Regions Bank located on Dauphin Island Parkway in Mobile Al. I attempted to withdraw $ 500.00, the machine display stated that my request could not be processed at the time; I received a receipt that showed 0 dollars dispensed. I have been with regions for almost ten years. Initially, I really liked them and had excellent experiences with them. Over the last few years though, things have gone downhill drastically. I have been banking with Regions for 6 years.I recently moved and decided to use the Regions Bank at 8100 Okeechobee Blvd.West Palm beach Fl.The Management is not knowledgeable when i go through the drive thru they make people including myself wait at least 20 mins before they complete a transaction.Asked to come in to branch for withdrawals which is really weird if your depositing a check.Also,... I am selling my house. I applied for a loan with Regions to purchase a replacement home that actually costs less than the one I am selling. They had well over a month to get it together. After getting assurances that there would be no problem, they failed to get the loan ready prior to closing. The communication with Regions was terrible. You cannot reach a local branch since they all have the same 800 number, which put me into TN. I paid my credit card in full for over $1400 but somehow was $.03 off and received a $13.62 interest charge. This was on my wife's account but they would not speak to me although I am on the account. Regions has online banking that for years would print the vendor and the amount on your statement. Then they took the smaller vendors (you have no way of knowing which ones) and instead started sending "Laser Checks". These laser checks show up on your statement as a number with no description. But unlike hand written checks they do not print on your statements. Therefore you have to pay $3... Read more

I was on the phone waiting to talk to a mortgage representative for two hours (I am not exaggerating). I kept hearing the usual message to wait for the next available representative. Until I lost my patience and called the regular banking department, so they could tell me that the mortgage department was closed at the time. Regions should at least change the phone system and redirect people... Read more
